Attorney John D. Halepaska studied civil engineering at Colorado State
University before earning his Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado
in 1997. John used his skills as a residential and commercial carpenter
to pay his way through school, and even today his technical knowledge
gives him an invaluable advantage in many of the product liability cases
handled by his firm.
The primary focus of Mr. Halepaska’s practice is civil litigation.
He has represented clients in many different types of product liability
claims at both the state and federal level, including motor vehicle and
trucking accident claims, premises liability, product liability, traumatic
brain injury, and wrongful death.
Attorney Halepaska maintains membership in a variety of professional organizations,
including the Colorado Bar Association, the American Bar Association,
the Douglas County Bar Association, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
Attorney Halepaska also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of
the Colorado Lawyers Helping Lawyers assistance program. His current court
admissions include the State of Colorado, the U.S. Court of Appeals –
Tenth Circuit, the U.S. District Court – District of Colorado, and
the U.S. Bankruptcy Court – District of Colorado.
